BJP கட்சியின் தமிழ்நாட்டு பிரதிநிதிகளான தமிழிசை, எச்.ராஜா போன்றவர்கள் GST குறித்த வசனத்திற்காக விஜய் நடிப்பில் வெளியான மெர்சல் படத்திற்கு கொடுத்த எதிர்ப்புகள் ஏராளம். இவர்களின் குடைச்சல் தாங்கமுடியாமல் மெர்சல் படக்குழு GST சம்பந்த பட்ட காட்சிகளை நீக்கியது நாம் அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே.
இதற்காக நாடே கொந்தளித்தது. இது நடந்து ஓரிரு வாரங்களில் மோடி அரசு 220 பொருட்களின் மீதான GST வரியை குறைத்துள்ளது. இதற்க்கு மெர்சல் படமும் ஒரு முக்கிய காரணம் என்று நினைத்து விஜய் ரசிகர்கள் BJP -யை கலாய்த்து மீம்ஸ் போட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அது இதோ.
Tamil Nadu BJP party leaders Tamilisai and H.Raja protest against GST related dialog in one of the tamil super star actor Vijay's mersal movie. Due to the protest and mutual agreement the producers of the film agreed to remove the specific scenes related to GST. Whole nation condemned this irrational behavior by BJP party. After few weeks of this incident Modi led BJP government slashed GST tax on over 220 items. The mersal movie played big part to bring down the GST rates.
